SpaceX seeks a Controls Technician to support data and control systems, including wiring, sensors, and instrumentation. You will perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse electrical systems and data acquisition units in a test environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design engineers, interpretation of test data, and ensuring safe, reliable access to space test setups. Weekend overtime and outdoor work are possible as site needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; 3+ years experience in controls or electrical systems acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Experience with instrumentation such as pressure transducers, thermocouples, valves, flow meters, multimeters, or oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical assignments involving instrumentation and data acquisition/processing systems.
• Maintain, calibrate, configure, monitor, test, troubleshoot, install, and repair instrumentation, process controls, data acquisition systems, and electrical systems.
• Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions.
• Analyze results of calibrations and processed data, and assist in the interpretation of test data.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues derived from test data.
