Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Automation Technician to join Manufacturing Automation. You will deploy and integrate Atlas Copco torque tools on production lines, configure Power Focus and MicroTorque systems, and troubleshoot tightening processes to ensure high-quality joints.

Responsibilities include training technicians, maintaining tooling health and calibration records, and supporting rapid automation deployments. US work authorization and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing with precision assembly systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
• Proven experience setting up workstations, routing cables, and physically deploying assembly line hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze a tightening trace and identify failure modes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, kneel, and work in tight spaces to install hardware.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

• Maintain tooling health and calibration records to ensure continuous reliability and minimize downtime

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Manufacturing Automation is seeking an Automation Technician, focusing on smart Torque Tools, to join our team. The Manufacturing Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience using Atlas Copco software
• Experience with micro-fastening applications for electronics or small electromechanical joints
• Familiarity with torque-tension relationships (soft vs. hard joints)
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment

US Hourly Range: $48 – $57 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
