Overview

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical, mechanical, and process controls issues to identify root cause, implement corrective action, and improve efficiency.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair various PLC platforms, VFDs, and motion control systems.
• Troubleshoot and install electrical control circuits based on electrical schematics.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement, production strategies, and plant reliability strategies.
• Create, maintain, and document Preventative Maintenance procedures and processes.

Required Skills & Education

• Journeyman or LME Oregon Electrical license
• An equivalent combination of education, out-of-state certification, and related work experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing or industrial experience required. Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls and power transmission systems.
• Commitment to working safely.
• Must be able to work 12.5-hour shifts, including holidays if scheduled.
• Willingness to work overtime and adjust work schedules to accommodate shutdowns and other business needs, including nights, weekends, and off-shifts.
