Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Shelby, MI is seeking a field service engineer to install, commission, and service industrial machinery worldwide. You will troubleshoot equipment, train end users, and collaborate with customers, contractors, and local trades to keep systems running.

The role requires an electrical engineering background (mechatronics considered), programming knowledge in PLC and HMI, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Electrical Engineering Degree preferred. Mechatronics Degree programs considered.
• Knowledge or education in computer programming architectures such as VB, C / C++, or C#.
• Knowledge or education in electrical circuits, schematic reading, design, and troubleshooting.
• Mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Microsoft Windows ™ Operating system and PC experience.
• Microsoft Office application experience such as Word and Excel.
• Travel required - approximately 70%
