Job Description
The Technician – Controls 1 will be responsible for machine programming, controls analysis, diagnosing control faults and problems.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Troubleshoot machine controls
- Coordinate and perform electrical & instrumentation related maintenance activities, including routine corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, equipment, and system improvements
- Use continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment
- Perform routine instrument calibration and preventive maintenance on instrument equipment and control systems (temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical devices)
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high levels of efficiency and reliability
- Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives and electrical support systems
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum age 18 years old
- PPE compliance as required by position and company safety policies

Physical Requirements
Position will require compliance with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Must wear safety toed shoes when performing tasks such as operating powered industrial equipment, fleet maintenance, working with palletized product, using hand trucks/dollies to deliver product, cooler services, etc.
