CapstoneONE Search represents a prominent manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support rapid growth and begin the interview process ASAP. The role focuses on maintaining PLC-based control systems in manufacturing automation and instrumentation.

You will lead projects, assist skilled trades, and collaborate with engineering to define control needs, select components, and support continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining PLC-based control systems in manufacturing automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate with skilled trades and engineering.

• Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
• Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
• Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
• Select industrial control components and assist with MRO crib.
• Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
• Guide design, develop and test electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
• Champion assigned engineering changes and communicate accordingly to all stakeholders.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
• Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
• Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
• Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
• Select industrial control components, assist with MRO crib.
• Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
