Job summary
6AM City, LLC is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician focused on Building Automation in Alaska. The role covers installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of building automation systems.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with energy management and HVAC controls; experience with Alerton Controls or Tridium Niagara AX is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and project planning tools is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of building automation systems.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and project schedules.
- Experience with contracting processes for installation of building automation systems.
- Knowledge of energy management and HVAC systems.
- Preference for Alerton Controls or Tridium Niagara AX experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, commission and troubleshoot building automation systems.
- Repair and maintain building automation systems as needed.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors during installations.

HVAC Controls Technician - Building Automation
Responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of building automation systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project and engineering drawing tools.
- Familiarity with the concepts of new construction, renovation/retrofit and service project management.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems.
- Familiarity with the operation of energy management systems, HVAC systems and temperature controls.
- Alerton Controls and Tridium Niagara AX experience preferred.
