Job summary

Responsibilities include troubleshooting down equipment, ladder logic with Allen Bradley and Siemens, reading blueprints, working with CNC controls, and collaborating with Engineering on process improvements; forklift operation and safety are included.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment and CNC controls.
• Ability to navigate ladder logic with Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery and program changes.
• Comfort reading blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment on CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge presses.
• Assist with design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.
• Use test equipment to diagnose issues and verify repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Coordinate with Engineering on process improvements and quality actions.
• Support parts research and general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure production schedules when establishing work processes.

Job Description:

Job Duties

• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.
• Ability to navigate ladder logic. Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Ability to work with 24 DC to 480 volts AC.
• Ability to use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.
• Ability to learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software to make adjustments.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program change.
• Understand some aspects of project related design, installation, and commissioning.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits / equipment.
• Assist with general parts research, as necessary.
• Analyzes and resolves machine and conveyor problems.
• Establishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedules.
• Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift / articulating arm boom truck.
• Work with Engineering on any process and 10 foot circle improvement.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.
