Job summary

Nestlé Purina in Flagstaff, AZ seeks a capable technician to support electrical and automation maintenance at our distribution site. You will learn and apply control system standards, design and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, and maintain instrumentation and electrical drawings while managing multiple projects with safety-first practices up to 480VAC/600VDC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain knowledge of Corporate Control System Standards and Guidelines.
• Understand design, programming, and troubleshooting of process instruments, PLCs, and HMIs.
• Possess working knowledge of tools and test equipment for testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production electrical equipment.
• Maintain electrical drawings and participate in continuing education.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Follow safe work practices for voltages up to 480VAC and 600VDC.

Position Summary

Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED equivalent
• 3+ years’ applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or HMI-systems in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments

OR

• Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline
• 1+ years’ applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or HMI-systems in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments

Salary: $72,483.30 to $97,176.00 per year

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
