Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a technically skilled professional to perform system commissioning and troubleshooting for HVAC controls on-site. You will load controller software, run diagnostics, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

You will communicate with customers and contractors, uphold safety standards, and offer solutions to improve facility efficiency. A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong PC and HVAC software skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or equivalent, or at least 2 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Document changes and complete commissioning documentation for as-built records.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate progress and issues with customers and contractors on site.
