E Tech Group is seeking a Controls System Specialist to support the commissioning of data centers, including installation support, calibration, loop testing and data validation, across multiple facilities in the United States.

The role involves testing PLCs, HMIs and vendor systems, documenting results, and traveling 70% or more during the initial 3-5 months. A high school diploma and 3+ years in related work are required.

We are seeking a Controls System Specialist to support the commissioning of data centers. Responsibilities may include installation support, equipment calibration, wire termination, loop testing and data validation, functional testing, documentation, troubleshooting of integrated control systems and instrumentation.

This position is role is 70%+ travel for the first 3-5 months.

You Will:

• Support the installation and commissioning of the data center Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS).

You Have:

• High school diploma or its equivalent with at least 3 of years of experience in the field or in a related area; may have completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• Basic understanding of control system components, wiring, and networking.
• Excellent performance in stressful environments.
• Work duties could be performed on weekends or holidays to fulfill customer commitments when required.
• Able to address conflict resolution immediately and without fail.
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

You May Have:

• Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition, OPC UA/DA, Modbus/TCP, and A/B Rockwell PLCs.
• Experience with Building Management & HVAC Control Systems.
• Instrumentation calibration / startup experience
