Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Controls Steam Turbine Technical Lead Engineer in the United States. The role focuses on developing and applying advanced control technologies to steam turbine applications, reviewing upgrade projects, and driving requirements with design engineers to ensure controllability.

You will write, test, and develop turbine application code, support schedules and milestones, and assist with software acceptance tests and field problem resolutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced control technologies to steam turbine applications.
• Review complex controls upgrade projects.
• Collaborate with design engineers of various disciplines to surface control system requirements and drive equipment requirements for controllability
• Write, test, and develop requirements for turbine application code
• Support on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standards
• Support software acceptance tests with customers
• Support Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of field problems
• Handle multiple projects / activities
• Review and interpret customer specifications.

Work Requirements

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in posted locations, and may be considered hybrid based on local regulations.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Pay Range : $120000 - $140000/Annum.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Citizenship requirement:

Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required

Travel:

Due to the nature of the work, travel is around 5-10%.
