Job summary

Fidelity Building Services Group is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to enhance energy management systems in the Baltimore, MD and Northern VA area. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in HVAC Systems, deep understanding of BAS control components, and a willingness to develop programming skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industry-related field, including HVAC Systems and DDC Systems.
• Deep understanding of BAS control components, control strategies, and programming.
• Tridium Certification and Schneider Electric experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert service to existing EMS/BAS systems for optimal performance.
• Engage in service installation projects, from sensor upgrades to programming tweaks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits, safeguarding systems for flawless operation.
• Partner with service team to troubleshoot and resolve service issues.
• Hone programming skills for self-sufficient problem-solving.

What we hope you bring to the table:

• Experience: 4+ years in an industry-related field, including HVAC Systems and DDC Systems
• Know-How: Deep understanding of BAS control components, control strategies, and programming.
• Software Proficiency: Tridium Certification and Schneider Electric experience would be a plus, but not a requirement.

• Provide expert service to our existing EMS/BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Dive into service installation projects, from sensor and relay upgrades to programming tweaks and controller replacements, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
• Conduct proactive preventive maintenance visits, safeguarding our systems and ensuring they operate flawlessly.
• Partner with our service team to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify service issues, ensuring seamless operations.
• Hone your programming skills to become a self-sufficient service guru, ready to handle any challenge, even when remote support isn't available.
