Join the Package Refurbishment and Upgrades (PRU) Engineering team. Our team works on a wide range of projects, including full package refurbishments, engine uprates, SoLoNOx conversions, compressor restages, system upgrades, controls system retrofits, and station controls. As a PRU Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary project team, working closely with PRU Project Application Engineering, PRU Project Management, Mabank Operations, Field Personnel, and other departments to ensure all engineering deliverables meet customer requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing Bills of Material (BOMs) for control system retrofits and upgrades, creating control console manufacturing layout drawings, and serving as a liaison between Engineering and Production. You will develop new custom parts and associated Source Control Drawings (SCDs), resolve production and quality issues related to component specifications, and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability. You will work closely with Controls Design Engineers and the broader PRU project team throughout the sales order execution process.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing-related experience.

$77,264.00 - $115,896.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
