Job summary
Stellantis in Detroit seeks a Controls Specialist to plan, implement and maintain production processes tied to equipment functionality, safety, throughput and quality. You will test preventive actions on lines and coordinate changes to ensure stable operations across assembly and automation systems.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley) and reviewing PLC programs, updating prints, and leading issue resolution for downtime or safety concerns while
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years manufacturing experience in automotive assembly or machining.
- Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC-5, SLC 500, ControlLogix).
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Flexible work schedule for production support.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and maintain stable production processes related to equipment functionality.
- Test and coordinate preventive actions on production lines to improve throughput and quality.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues; coordinate with maintenance and operations.
- Review and update PLC programs; modify prints as needed.
- Lead problem resolution for downtime and safety concerns; collaborate with engineers and leadership.
