Job summary

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with an active Q Clearance to provide hands-on support for manufacturing equipment in Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and control system issues.

Experience with Allen-Bradley or similar platforms is highly desirable. Responsibilities include troubleshooting control systems, supporting startups and maintenance, and reviewing electrical drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls/Automation engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial controls and manufacturing equipment.
Experience with PLC-based control systems and Allen-Bradley or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose control system and manufacturing equipment issues.
Provide hands-on technical support to identify and resolve equipment failures.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and related equipment.
Review and modify PLC programming and control logic as needed.
Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
Review electrical and controls drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and operations to resolve equipment issues.
Document system modifications and technical resolutions.
