Responsibilities include updating controls systems and designing new machine controls involving robotics and various applications. Candidates must have a BS/BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and over 5 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Ability to read and update electrical schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Update and improve existing controls systems.
• Design new machine controls involving robotics and other applications.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance on modifications.

Skills

PC Hardware setup and troubleshooting

Basic LAN knowledge (TCP/IP)

Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Omron PLC/HMI systems

Strong deductive reasoning/problem solving skills

AutoCAD design software

Education

BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering

Tools

Visual Basic

Label printers and handheld scanners
