Job summary

G-Tech is seeking a Controls Engineer in Lake Orion, MI to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in the paint shop. The role involves supporting Fanuc robots, cobots, and automated material handling within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The contract duration is 52 weeks with potential extensions; shifts are flexible beyond the first shift, offering an engaging, hands-on automation environment.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting experience with Siemens PLCs and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell controls.
• Ability to read, interpret, and diagnose PLC logic, automation faults, and production equipment issues.
• Experience supporting HMIs and manufacturing controls systems in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and correct controls related issues in the paint shop.
• Support commissioning and startup activities for automation projects as needed.
