Job summary
Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a Controls Engineer onsite in Buffalo, NY to support advanced automation in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role is highly hands‑on with 80–90% on the production floor, and initial first shift with potential transition to other shifts after one year.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs/HMI, diagnosing Siemens and Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell issues, supporting Fanuc robots, AMRs, and fleet management systems, plus assisting with commissioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and controls knowledge.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose Siemens and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell controls issues.
- Support Fanuc robots/cobots and automated material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot and support AMRs and fleet management systems.
- Assist with automation commissioning, startups and production launches.
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Materials and Logistics teams.
- Support new automation projects and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and material flow.
