Job summary
Invio Automation is looking for a Controls Engineer to design and implement industrial control systems. The candidate should possess an Associate degree in electrical technology and have at least three years of experience in PLC programming, along with strong skills in AutoCAD and Allen Bradley software. Responsibilities include troubleshooting support, collaborating with the mechanical design team, and providing onsite customer support. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are critical for this role, along with the ability to travel within North America.
Qualifications
Professional attitude with internal and external customers.
At least three years of PLC programming experience.
Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible.
Responsibilities
Design complete controls systems for industrial applications.
Support manufacturing resources and customers.
Provide onsite support to customers as needed.
Work with mechanical design team to modify existing controls systems.
Travel within the continental US, Canada, and Mexico.
Skills
Design and incorporate various controls components
Troubleshoot existing installations
Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of RSLogix 5000
Strong interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written skills
Proven organizational skills
Education
