This role offers exposure to state‐of‐the‐art testing facilities and the opportunity to contribute to next‐generation cooling solutions supporting decarbonization, data center efficiency, AI‐enabled manufacturing, and sustainability initiatives.**How you will do it**:* Contribute as part of a growing engineering team addressing new control system needs in decarbonization and data center cooling* Design, implement, test, and support control software for chillers and air handling units used in data centers, large facilities, and industrial environments* Develop reliable and maintainable code using MATLAB/Simulink, applying model‐based design principles for embedded systems* Apply control theory fundamentals (modeling, simulation, statistics, data acquisition) to support robust and efficient control solutions* Assist with data analysis and modeling activities to support system understanding and controller development* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to support product development efforts**What we look for:***Required:** BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; MS preferred* 2–3 years of controls, automation, or related engineering experience, or an MS degree with relevant project, research, or internship experience* Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and interest in model‐based design for embedded systems* Familiarity with basic control systems concepts, modeling, and data analysis* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work effectively in a team‐oriented, fast‐paced engineering environment* Basic ability to read embedded C/C++ code and use scripting tools such as Python or MATLABSALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $85,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
