Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.# **Om dig:****What You Do In This Role:*** Participates in the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software.* Write PLC code for semi-complex systems utilizing standard practices.* Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.* Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.* Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.* Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.* Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site.* Interact directly with the customer on site.**What We Are Looking For:*** Current hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal preferred.* Must demonstrate a working understanding of design, layout and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet.* Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is expected.* Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.* Demonstrated ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Current experience with the rigors of on-site startup/commissioning.* Experience with material handling systems is preferred.* 2-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.* Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable* Travel can range anywhere from 25% - 40% depending on the project and is typically on weekends and possibly over some holidays.* 4 year degree or equal in a related discipline
