Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking engineers in Los Angeles to join our AI frontier compute infrastructure team. You will engineer automated commissioning, build test libraries, and run tests on live sites to ensure reliable operation.

You will analyze trend data, embed tests in PLC/BMS logic, and drive upstream fixes. We value hands-on commissioning, proactive problem solving, and ownership of end-to-end scope.

Role Scope

• Engineer automated commissioning from the controls side: test sequences written into the control layer itself.
• Build the functional test library: every device and sequence in the reference design with an automated test to match.
• Run automated commissioning on live sites: execute, analyze, and disposition failures with the field team.
• Feed results upstream: design and controls standards fixed where tests keep failing.

What We're Looking For

• You've commissioned building or data center control systems hands-on.
• You've written the test procedures, not just executed them.
• You program BMS or PLC platforms well enough to embed tests in logic.
• You analyze trend data to find the failure the point check missed.
• You've turned repeat findings into upstream fixes.
• Bonus: L4 and L5 commissioning at scale. Tridium, ALC, Siemens, or PLC platforms. Analytics tooling. Electrical commissioning interface.
