Management Performance Associates is seeking a Controls Engineer for 1st shift in Twinsburg, OH. You will design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based controls for automated production and warehouse operations, and guide teams to improve reliability and efficiency across facilities.

You’ll work with Allen‑Bradley and Rockwell platforms, develop standards, and mentor site controls staff while collaborating with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues and implement upgrades.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or 2–4 years related experience required.
• Advanced PLC programming skills and motion control knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment problems.
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50–70% and work third shift.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement control strategies for automated production equipment.
• Program, test, troubleshoot PLCs and motion systems.
• Support control design for new equipment and upgrades.
• Standardize programming practices and controls documentation.
• Evaluate automation solutions and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Provide technical direction and training to site controls staff.
• Explain recommendations clearly to plant teams and leadership.
• Stay current with automation technology and tools.
