H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a Controls Engineer for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Indianapolis area to support automated manufacturing and warehouse operations across facilities.

You'll develop control strategies, program PLC-based systems, lead technical efforts, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to improve reliability and efficiency on third shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–4 years related experience.
• Advanced PLC programming and motion control knowledge.
• Develop controls solutions and troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Lead through technical expertise and influence decisions.
• Valid driver's license; third shift availability and travel 50%–70%.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in electrical or related field.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement control strategies for automated production and conveyors.
• Program, troubleshoot, test, and repair PLC-based controls and motion systems.
• Support controls for new equipment and system upgrades.
• Establish consistent programming standards and documentation.
• Evaluate automation solutions and improve equipment performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to resolve issues.
• Provide technical direction and training to site controls engineers.
