The role requires an associate degree or 2–4 years' experience, strong PLC and motion control skills, and ability to lead with technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–4 years related work experience.
• Advanced PLC programming and motion control knowledge.
• Ability to develop controls solutions and troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50–70%.
• Available to work third shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control strategies for automated production equipment, conveyors, and warehouse operations.
• Program, troubleshoot, test, and repair PLC-based controls and motion systems.
• Support design and development of controls for new equipment and upgrades.
• Establish programming standards, coding practices, and controls documentation.
• Evaluate automation solutions and improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations to prioritize controls issues.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and training to site controls teams.
• Explain technical recommendations to plant teams and leadership.
• Stay current with automation technology and tools.
