Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States seeks a control systems engineer to join our team, contributing from design through implementation of automation projects in Life Sciences and other industries. You will develop documentation, test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in control systems, and readiness to travel up to 50%. We support training and growth within a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently with an organized, methodical approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% (mostly local with remote support).
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation and testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning support.
• Coordinate with installation company to monitor progress and QA/QC.
• Travel to client facilities to participate in design, development, and start-up.

You Will:

• Serve as a team member supporting the execution of project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation – drawing packages, method of procedures, sequence of operations, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote support commissioning system design changes.
• Work with installation company to monitor progress, QA/QC installation, test procedures, document, and communicate with team progress observations.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule & travel, if necessary, to participate in the design, development, and start-up of control systems at the client’s facility
• Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Able to work independently on projects and tasks with a very organized and methodical approach
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies
• Instrumentation calibration / startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in “live” environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support)
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

You May Have:

• Experience with PLC or DDC controlled data center projects
• Experience with AVEVA Wonderware, FactoryTalk View SE, OPC UA/DA, and A/B Rockwell or Schneider PLC’s.
• Experience Building Management & HVAC Control Systems

Salary : $100k-$130K
