Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing environments. The role involves troubleshooting, commissioning, and integrating automation equipment with HMIs, SCADA, drives, and industrial networks.

The candidate should have strong hands-on PLC programming, electrical schematics literacy, and experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Program, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based control systems.
• Support automation equipment, robotics, HMIs, SCADA, drives, and industrial networks.
• Troubleshoot production and controls issues to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and integration.
• Work with maintenance, engineering, production teams, and equipment vendors.
• Develop and maintain controls documentation, electrical drawings, and system specifications.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, and manufacturing controls.

Client’s Key Requirements – Must Have

• Controls/Automation Engineering experience in the U.S.
• Strong hands‑on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell PLC experience is required.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with FANUC robotics/robotic automation is highly preferred.
• Experience with VFDs, drives, sensors, and industrial controls.
• Manufacturing/industrial automation experience required.
• Experience with equipment commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Strong ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
