Job summary

PADNOS - Recycling Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer to join our in-office team in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on developing and standardizing control systems across a range of equipment, leading electrical scopes, and coordinating with vendors to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, proficiency in controls and ladder logic, and the ability to communicate complex analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in controls and ladder logic development/maintenance.
• Ability to provide clear and detailed information to the team about project analysis and design.
• Licensed Electrician preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Financial literacy.
• Must be able to work in the office.
• Must be able to lift 75 lb.

• Coordinate with PADNOS team and subcontract suppliers/vendors to execute projects on time and on budget.

The Controls Engineer at PADNOS can work on a wide variety of equipment and tasks throughout our over 20 locations. This position is an in-office (not remote) position.
