Job summary

TYG in Georgia connects engineers with leading firms expanding their Controls teams in the mission critical and data center sector. You will work on hyperscale data center projects, dealing with complex systems such as chilled water and electrical power monitoring.

We seek Controls Engineers with 5+ years of experience in building automation or process control, BAS/BMS/HVAC experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing building automation or process control systems.
• Experience with BAS/BMS/HVAC controls.
• Experience with controls vendors, system integrators, commissioning agents, or engineering design consultancies.

Responsibilities

• Design building automation or process control systems for data centers and mission critical facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.
• Produce control drawings, specifications, and sequences of operations.

What We're Looking For

We're speaking with Controls Engineers with experience across a range of backgrounds, including:

• Controls Engineers with 5+ years of experience designing building automation or process control systems.
• Engineers with BAS, BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or process control experience.
• Engineers from controls vendors, system integrators, commissioning agents, or engineering design consultancies.
• Engineers currently working in mission critical / data centers.
• Engineers looking to transition into data centers from commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or other complex environments.
• EITs, PEs, or engineers working towards licensure.
• Engineers comfortable working with AutoCAD, Revit, control drawings, specifications, points lists, and sequences of operations.

You don't need to have the perfect background. Strong controls knowledge, technical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to work on complex projects are often more important than direct data center experience.
