Pratt & Whitney seeks a software engineer to decompose system requirements and design software within an Agile framework for DoD projects. Onsite in Florida, you will perform iterative testing, verification, and participate in planning and ceremonies.

Potential to serve as Scrum Master and contribute to development teams. Required: a STEM degree and 2 years of engineering experience; DoD clearance is a typical pathway for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile software development is preferred.

• Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment.

CDS develops complex, cyber-resilient control systems and software for commercial and military engines including power and thermal management Systems and auxiliary power units. CDS also develops advanced diagnostic & health management systems to monitor our products, forecast events and help facilitate MRO operations. Onsite

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
