Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Controls Design Engineer for their Tiffin, Ohio office. This role involves PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley platforms, and electrical hardware design. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and has at least three years of relevant experience. Controls Design Engineer – Tiffin, Ohio

An established premier manufacturer seeks a Controls Design Engineer to join its electrical design engineering team. The role is responsible for PLC programming (primarily Allen Bradley platforms) and electrical hardware design. The position reports to the Electrical Design Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Senior Engineer to learn product and processes
• Programmable logic controller programming using Allen Bradley PLC platforms
• Manage multiple engineering projects and partner with mechanical engineers to complete machine design concepts
• Responsible for control panel and electrical hardware design
• Once trained, manage 1‑6 design projects at a time
• Make design changes to equipment designs
• Create bill of materials for design projects
• Make customized modifications to established designs
• Assist sales and customer service departments with technical electrical expertise related to customer needs and quotations
• Communicate with customers on equipment needs and preferences
• Perform other duties directed by management

Qualifications
