Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Controls and Automation Technician for the night shift (Sun–Thu, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will oversee electrical repairs on production equipment and building systems, perform preventative maintenance on generators, boilers, compressors, and bottling lines, and install new equipment.

The role requires PLC and VFD troubleshooting, a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, and a state-licensed Limited

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience.
• State Certified Limited Electrical Contractor license.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Knowledge of bottling processes and water treatment, refrigeration, blending and filling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
• Installation of new equipment and diagnosis/repair of problems in PM/Work orders.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using PLC logic.
• Collaborate with vendors to research parts and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure availability of parts for support functions.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a *Controls and Automation Technician**SHIFT: ** *Night Shift:* Sunday–Thursday nights | 8:00 PM–6:00 AM* *Must be able to work night shift.**Job Description*Oversees and performs electrical repairs on production facility equipment and building.*RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES** Performs electrical preventative and repair maintenance on support equipment generators, boilers, compressors, production equipment.* Installation of new equipment.* Diagnose problems and repair PM/Work order systems.* Periodic inspection of 120V, 240V, and 480V three phase.* Identifies and maintains parts needed for support functions.* Diagnose and Repair equipment using PLC Logic.* Work with local and OEM venders to research various parts or troubleshooting procedures.* Other duties as assigned.*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** High school diploma or GED and five (5) years industrial maintenance experience.* One (1) year pf PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience.* State Certified Limited Electrical Contractor license.* Maintenance troubleshooting experience.* Knowledge of fabricating, electrical, pneumatics, welding and rigging.* Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.* Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.* Rockwell software training preferred.* Knowledge of all aspects of bottling including water treatment, batching, refrigeration, blending, and filling systems preferred.* Good Machine Shop skills.* Good oral and written communication skills.* Must be able to work the hour necessary to complete assigned tasks.*ESSENTIAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS**Mental Functions*Non-repetitive and somewhat diversified job requiring continuous mental alertness or very close visual attention.*Physical Functions*Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
