Sidel is a global reference in packaging technologies for food, beverage, and personal care industries.Our Santa Maria da Feira site is home to over 220 committed professionals who work together in a supportive and dynamic environment to achieve excellence.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Controlling Manager & Business Partner to lead the Team of Industrial Controllers for the ECS & Food Home & Personal Care.In this role, you will serve as a strategic business partner to the Supply Chain leadership team, supporting the full value chain from budgeting and performance analysis to operational efficiency and digital transformation.You will be responsible for driving financial visibility, shaping strategic decisions, and fostering a culture of ownership and performance accountability across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is instrumental in achieving cost optimization, enhancing productivity, and strengthening financial governance.

Your Mission

Leadership& Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop ateam of skilled industrial controllers in alignment with the department’smission.
• Foster a performance-driven andcollaborative team culture with a focus on continuous improvement andinnovation.
• Ensure team members have clearobjectives, development plans, and access to the necessary tools tosucceed.

Business Partnering

• Participate in defining theindustrial and supply chain strategy by assessing the financialimplications of strategic choices.
• Act as a key financial advisorto the Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions, supportingdecision-making through high-quality financial analysis and insight.
• Ensure end-to-end P&Laccountability and visibility for the Supply Chain.
• Promote financial acumen andcost awareness within the operations community, empowering teams to takeownership of their financial performance.

Controlling & Performance Management

• Lead the development andimplementation of efficient controlling processes and reporting toolsacross manufacturing sites.
• Lead local budgeting andforecasting processes, including assumption validation and alignment withbusiness plans.
• Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF)monthly financial closing with accurate and transparent reporting.
• Deliver key manufacturingcontrolling KPIs, with in-depth variance analysis and performanceoutlooks.
• Own and manage projectdeviation monitoring, including root cause analysis (RCA) and resolutionfollow-up

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure full compliance withcorporate financial policies, local regulations, and tax/legalrequirements.
• Support both internal andexternal audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Maintain and reinforce stronginternal control frameworks to safeguard the integrity of financial dataand assets.
• Champion World ClassManufacturing (WCM) financial practices and contribute actively to implementationacross the manufacturing sites.
• Lead the rollout of digitalfinance tools (e.g., RPA, BI, Qlik Sense), improving automation andreal-time analysis capabilities.
• Contribute to the One FinanceProgram by promoting digitization, process standardization, and innovationin financial practices.
• Build and maintain effectiveinterfaces with regional and global finance and business teams to ensurereporting reliability and consistency.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance,Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experiencein Controlling, ideally in an industrial and international environment.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS andcontrolling principles.
• Hands-on experience with SAPFI/CO; proficiency in PowerBi is a strong plus.
• Proven experience operationsfinance.
• Strong financial and analyticalacumen with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills; confident in influencing senior stakeholders.
• Leadership skills with theability to coach and grow a diverse team in terms of seniority andgeographical location.
• Passion for digital financetransformation; familiarity with emerging technologies (RPA, BI,Blockchain) is advantageous.
