Job summary

MZN Management Group, LLC seeks an experienced Controller / Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting and serve as a strategic partner to company leadership in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
• Minimum 7 years of ERP experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Payroll processing experience; ADP preferred.
• Manufacturing, inventory accounting, or cost accounting experience is a plus.
• CPA or public accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and communicate effectively with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Oversee banking activities, cash reporting, collections, and financial controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Process weekly payroll and coordinate with corporate HR.
• Support inventory accounting, annual physical inventory counts, and related adjustments.
• Partner with the General Manager and corporate leadership on financial analysis and operational decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
