Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is assisting an established distribution business in bringing its controller responsibilities in-house. The role centers on NetSuite ownership, tightening processes, and owning the month-end close.

The successful candidate will have controller experience (or senior accounting lead), NetSuite expertise, and a penchant for inventory/operational finance. This is a fully on-site role based in Illinois with a base salary from $80K to $100K.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller or senior accounting lead.
• NetSuite experience (strongly preferred).
• Operations or inventory accounting background is a big plus.
• Happy to work fully on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, reporting and the general ledger.
• Take over controller work currently handled by an outside firm.
• Work closely with AR/AP and support the wider team.
• Get involved in inventory, costing and operational finance.
• Help improve processes and automation in NetSuite.

We're working with an established, privately held distribution business that's bringing its controller work in-house.

They've run on NetSuite for a few years and are actively using AI to get more out of it. They want a hands-on person to take ownership, tighten things up and help shape how finance runs.

What you'll do

• Own month-end close, reporting and the general ledger
