A. O. Smith is seeking a Site Controller to lead general and cost accounting, forecasting, and budget controls for two locations. You will ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and drive opportunities to improve performance across the organization.

Responsibilities include month-end close, asset reviews, and coordinating with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes for two locations and ensure month-end close per GAAP.
• Lead forecasting and annual plan for Wholesale sales and cost centers.
• Review capital assets and budgets; verify funds availability before commitments.
• Drive projects to improve performance and establish accounting controls.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and Warehouse on inventory issues.
• Maintain accurate cost data within the ERP system.
• Interpret financial data and provide management recommendations.
• Evaluate processes and integrate into AO Smith controls framework.
• Continuous improvement of department functions and controls.
• Distribute timely, reliable financial information to users.
