The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and GAAP compliance, with proven leadership and mentoring abilities to oversee staff and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and risk management.
• Experience in high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and finance activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly and year-end close process.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
• Perform account reconciliations and review journal entries.
• Implement and maintain internal accounting controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations.
• Provide guidance on day-to-day accounting matters.
