UHS is currently recruiting for our Controller at Texoma Medical Center (Denison, TX), approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Texoma Medical Center (TMC) is an acute care hospital with a medical staff of more than 200 physicians. In addition, Texoma Medical center operates a number of locations throughout the Texoma region. The Controller supports the market through various roles and responsibilities which may include providing direct oversight of the finance department including General Ledger, Payroll, Account's Payable and Decision Support staff. The Controller also interacts with all Hospital departments ensuring proper utilization and accounting of Hospital capital and operating resources in accordance with Corporate and Hospital financial policies and procedures. The position will require active participation and possible oversight for different components of the Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain within the organization including: Business Office, Care Management, Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Materials Management/Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience coordinating and/or supervising acute care hospital/medical center finance staff including: Accounts Payable, Decision Support, General Ledger and Payroll
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Computer hardware/software skills required.
• Completion of training programs, as required.
• Education Required: Bachelors degree. CPA preferred.
