Job summary

CFS in Wisconsin Dells is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our stable financial institution. You will assist with budgeting, regulatory filings, and reporting, providing timely insights to support management and liquidity planning.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in accounting and at least five years of accounting experience, preferably in banking or financial services. Workdays are 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with no nights or weekends, plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience required.
• Banking/financial services background strongly preferred.
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of the annual budget and provide financial insights to management.
• Support regulatory filings and examinations, external audits, and reporting requirements.
• Track daily cash and liquidity levels and assist with funding and collateral management.
• Provide backup coverage for accounting and financial reporting functions as needed.

Salary: $90,000-$100,000

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of the annual budget and provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Support regulatory filings and examinations, external audits, Call Report preparation, FRY reporting, and Summary of Deposits requirements.
• Track daily cash and liquidity levels, prepare cash position reports, and assist with funding and collateral management activities.
• Provide backup coverage for various accounting, financial reporting, and related finance functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred; additional education is a plus
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Background in banking or financial services strongly preferred, including teller or transaction-focused roles
