Job summary

Prototek seeks a Controller / Additive in Wisconsin to lead financial close, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis in a manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with operations and finance to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting.

Required CPA (strongly preferred), a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years’ experience, ERP experience, and advanced Excel. Hybrid/onsite role with a solid benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, and reconciliations
• Analyze manufacturing variances including labor, material, overhead, and PPV
• Assist with annual audits, inventory observations, and audit support schedules
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting accuracy
• Support standard costing processes, cost roll-ups, BOM validation, and inventory controls
• Partner with plant leadership to improve operational and financial processes
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance
