Job summary

Aprio client is seeking a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for a growing RV dealership group in the Pacific Northwest. The role leads a team responsible for dealership accounting, reporting, reconciliations, cash management, floorplan administration, payroll support and strong financial controls.

Ideal candidate will have dealership accounting experience across automotive segments and at least 5+ years in progressive accounting roles, including 2+ years in a leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within an RV, automotive, powersports, marine, truck, equipment dealership, inventory-intensive distribution, equipment rental, leasing, or other high-volume operational accounting environment.
• 2+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Office Manager, Group Controller, or similar accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Inventory and asset accounting Financing and lending relationships, Accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, Cash management and bank reconciliations, Internal controls and process governance, financial statement preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead a team responsible for dealership accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Manage cash flow, floorplan administration, and payroll support.
• Ensure accurate financial statements and reports.

Our client is looking for a Controller who will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations while leading a team responsible for dealership accounting, reporting, reconciliations, cash management, floorplan administration, payroll support and financial controls.

Ideal candidate will have dealership accounting experience (automotive, RV, Marine, Powersports, Truck, Heavy Equipment preferred).

Required

5+ years of progressive accounting experience within an RV, automotive, powersports, marine, truck, equipment dealership, inventory-intensive distribution, equipment rental, leasing, or other high-volume operational accounting environment.

2+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Office Manager, Group Controller, or similar accounting leadership role.

Strong knowledge of Inventory and asset accounting Financing and lending relationships, Accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, Cash management and bank reconciliations, Internal controls and process governance, financial statement preparation and analysis.

Salary plus benefits included $130 - $155k.
