Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is recruiting for a Controller in Indiana with direct visibility to executive leadership. Hybrid work includes one WFH day per week and an unlimited PTO program.

The role oversees WIP, AIA billing, job costing, and cash flow, while developing the accounting team and partnering with operations for strategic decisions. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting at manager/controller level and 2+ years in construction accounting, with Spectrum Viewpoint experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with Accounting Manager or Controller-level responsibilities.
• 2+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience with job costing, WIP schedules, and AIA billing.
• Spectrum Viewpoint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee WIP schedules and AIA billing activities.
• Review job costing reports and project profitability.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000
