Bridgepoint Consulting seeks a Controller Consultant to act as a strategic partner delivering senior financial management and accounting services for a range of interim and project-based needs. You will collaborate with CFOs, CEOs, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, tax advisors, and investors to enable client success.

The role emphasizes growth initiatives, implementing improvements, and driving scalability while supporting local market travel and flexible engagement models.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years as a Controller.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Willingness to travel throughout your local market, while occasionally supporting national markets.
• Strong desire for consulting-style work and delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience leading and managing operations of an accounting department.
• Solid track record of developing and optimizing the accounting and finance functions to support growth and scalability.
• Interpersonal skills to develop effective interdepartmental relationships; IT, HR, Operations department oversight is a plus.
• Proficient understanding of budgeting and forecasting with complex, dynamic financial models.
• Experience maintaining and/or implementing effective internal controls.

We are seeking a Controller Consultant to join our growing Financial Operations practice.

As a Controller Consultant at Bridgepoint, you will serve as a strategic business partner to support our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs.

What You’ll Do

Preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
• Prior employment by a Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms
• Industry experience in emerging growth, manufacturing, technology, and SaaS companies
