The role involves collaborating with the Director of Finance to establish long-term goals and strategies, impacting the financial position of the company. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business management and at least five years of experience as a controller or Senior Accounting Manager. Proficiency in accounting software is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Dismas Distribution Services is a third-party supply chain Value‑Added Services (VAS) provider seeking a Controller who brings strong leadership capabilities and clear, effective communication skills.

Role Summary

The Controller’s primary area of responsibility will be overseeing the daily accounting functions of the company. The Controller will collaborate with the Director of Finance to establish long‑range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. The Controller will have a day‑to‑day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business management, CPA preferred
• At least five years as a controller or senior accounting manager possessing knowledge of all aspects of GAAP and preparation of financial statements including cost accounting
• Proficiency in software including Excel, Quickbooks and payroll software systems
• Familiarity with ERP and data management software and systems
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Familiarity with privately held organizations
• Exceptional communication skills and an ethical mindset
• Active listening, presentation and conflict resolution skills
