Job summary

Venteon Finance is seeking an experienced Controller for a growing non-automotive service-based client in Oakland County.

The role oversees the monthly close across multiple sites, standardizes policies, and serves as the primary accounting contact for site leadership. You will manage AR/AP teams and deliver consolidated financial reporting while supporting liquidity and working-capital trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Multi-site / multi-entity experience preferred.
• Supervisory / Team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the monthly close in a multiple site / entity environment, ensuring consistent timelines, policies, and chart-of-accounts treatment across locations.
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for site leadership.
• Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across sites.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support prepared by site and AR/AP staff.
• Directly manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team.
• Prepare and consolidate accurate, timely financial reporting across assigned sites.
• Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working-capital trends across assigned sites.
• Analyze complex reconciliations and build financial models to support ad hoc initiatives and site-level decision-making.
