Job summary

Vermeer Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer Intern to assist in developing, testing, and implementing control systems in line with Vermeer standards. You will help develop electrical and control system design standards and review prototypes to ensure reliability and performance.

We seek a high school graduate who is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with internship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit caring culture, agility, customer focus and stewardship.
• Develop and write control system specifications; perform tests and simulations.
• Review wiring diagrams; design wire harness, control panel, sensor mounting, and routing.
• Identify electrical quality issues and implement solutions.
• Assist in prototypes and document control system changes.
