Job summary

InflexionPoint LLC is seeking a Control System Engineer III to design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial processes. Travel to customer sites is required for analysis, installation, and commissioning.

The role emphasizes system optimization, data analysis, and collaboration with electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to deliver reliable plant-wide solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in control systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of control system principles, algorithms, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA and related software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of system requirements and performance objectives.
• Design control systems and develop control algorithms based on requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectures and integration strategies.
• Develop and implement control strategies using programming tools.
• Design and configure control hardware including sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
• Create and modify control schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
• Integrate control systems with hardware and software components.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure functionality.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
