Sonnax provides innovative transmission repair products for the automotive aftermarket and industrial sectors utilizing drivetrain components. Partnering with transmission rebuilders, our R&D teams identify failing OEM parts and design components to repair or enhance automatic transmissions, meeting a wide range of performance and warranty needs.
The Control System Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and continuous production support of control systems for end-of-line test equipment for hydraulic control solenoids, mechanical and electromechanical products. The engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional team both on site and remotely to ensure that all products meet safety, performance, and efficiency standards. Design, develop, analyze, test, and verify control systems operating in a LabView environment. Oversee the fabrication and procurement of components and systems. Generate schematics, logic diagrams, relative to the design, and theory of operation of developed control systems Integration and simulation of control systems and testing capabilities. Develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) systems. Perform initial product acceptance testing and analyze test data to identify and address key product failures. Develop statistical analysis programs and apply that methodology to determine failure modes and implement continuous improvements for test capabilities and yield.
