Control Room Technician, Part-Time, Evenings - Pennsylvania Hospital

Join us at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, as a Control Room Technician, Part-Time, Evenings - Pennsylvania Hospital. This role involves monitoring various building systems from a central control center, including Building Automation, Temp Trac, Pneumatic Tube, Medical Gas, Electrical / Low Voltage, Fire Alarm, and Life Safety systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and adjusting systems as needed, reporting alarms and issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Accepting maintenance service calls after hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Logging incidents, monitoring scheduled utility shutdowns, and acting as a point of contact for vendors.
  • Participating in safety initiatives and ensuring effective communication with staff and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or large facility setting.
  • Trade school completion preferred.
